This project is dedicated to Rev. Dr. Leslie Callahan and Annabelle Callahan who have created a place to dream of a radical freedom that’s grounded in love at the St. Paul’s Baptist Church, Philadelphia.
A special shout out to my amazing family, friends, medical team, church family, and musicians who have all contributed to the total victory I stand in today and through which I release this music in the world. A very special shout out to the Musiqology squad. I’m thankful for: the loyalty and creative eye of Mikel Washington, the boundless genius of Vince Anthony, the loving dedication and talents of Bridget Ramsey-Russell, the expertise and drive of John Vilanova, the vibrant “jawny-ness" of Shakira King, and the thoughtful prescience of Nadia Henry. And, of course, heaps of gratitude to my partner Kellie Jones, whose influence can be heard in every note I play—especially if they’re the right ones. I thank God for you all.

I was brought here after listening to a live performance of Makaya's on you tube. I instantly loved the song Holy Lands so much that I had to see if the album version was the same rendition as the live one. Then I listened to the whole album! Universal Beings is a just a groove... It's a mix of traditional and something new, very nice. pandr1900

This could’ve been my album of the year if I’d noticed it. Hell.
2020, feeling like shit and then this musical balm appears. Live recording on one mic. Just bass and harp. Awesome. It swings like a pendulum do!
Big shout out for Dezron’s love of coffee. I now have 2 of his albums and he’s proselytising on behalf of coffee on both. Damn right ☕️ Crinklechips

Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. I have loved this record since its release, and realized I don't own it for some reason. So its time to change that. 9.5/10 honestly could become a 10/10 on an indepth vinyl relisten. angrypizza98
